Youth Craft Challenge Program

Participate in our fun filled Holiday 2024 Youth Craft Challenge featuring Spellbinders Crafty Advent Calendar and a twist (changing up the challenge).  Craft Challenge Project submissions will enter a chance to win one of two gift certificates, see Additional Information below for more details.  The daily advent calendar gifts will be used to create the project submissions.  Registration fee is $29.99 plus tax.  Visit our Workshops/Events page to register.

How it works:

For ages 6-14 years old

1. Registration opens 10/28/2024 online or in store.  Each registration includes 1 Spellbinders Crafty Advent Calendar and 2 card bases. 

2. After registering, stop by Crafts on the Move (COTM) to pick up your Advent Calendar.  Registration ends on November 30, 2024 or when all kits are sold, which ever comes first.  

3. Reveal all the crafty goodness and then get CREATIVE!!!

4. Create projects with your advent presents.  Optional: incorporate crafty items from your own stash.  Projects include: cards, tags, notepads, gift bags, scrapbook pages, and mini albums.  One raffle entry per completed project.

5. Submit your child's completed projects to COTM by January 5, 2025 to be photographed.

6. Images of projects will be shared on our Facebook & Instagram pages.

7. For each project submitted: receive 1 raffle ticket to enter a chance to WIN one of two prizes.  Two winning tickets will be drawn on January 10, 2025.  Each prize/winning ticket receives a $25.00 Gift Certificate for an in store class to be redeemed by 3/30/2025.

6. Pick up submitted projects between January 13 - 22, 2025.

The 2024 Holiday Youth Craft Challenge is different from previous challenges.  

  What is NEW?

         Images of Projects will be shared via Social Media instead of being on display at the store

         There is a registration fee (cost of the Advent Calendar)

         No crafty supplies will be awarded at the end of the challenge, but two (2) $25.00 Class Gift Certificates will be raffled off.

Additional Information:

• Some basic supplies are necessary to participate.  Tools and supplies include and are not limited to the following: child safe scissors, glue, adhesive, or tape, ruler, pen or pencil, and any other desired tools and supplies that you may have at home.  The program is not intended to require any thing but some basic household supplies.
• No crafty products will be handed out at the end of the challenge, but instead two $25.00 store credits toward a class will be raffled for the exclusive drawing.
• If completed projects are not picked up by January 22, 2025 they will be discarded.
• Additional rules might be added as necessary.
• This is not a contest, it is an opportunity for the children to create a project that means something to them and share it with the community while having spirited holiday fun when they open the small gifts..
• A live YouTube is scheduled for 12/23/2024 to share some inspiration.
• Crafts on the Move is not responsible for any damage to completed projects while on display, but will try to help fix any damage.
• Crafts on the Move will provide communications about dates and and live streams via email once a child has been registered for a seasonal session.
